Hard to believe another year has gone by. Down here in Costa Rica the stores have been full of decorations since September - Christmas is a very big holiday here, as it is indeed in most parts of the world.

It is also a time for us to reflect on the past year, and on how fortunate we have been to have been able to create, launch and operate Absolute Poker, all within the past 2 years. It has been a lot of hard work, but also a lot of fun, and we recognize that none of this would have been possible without players like you. THANK YOU!

Of course the end of the year also means the start of a new year, and at Absolute Poker, 2005 is going to be very exciting. Coming soon will be Re-buy/Add-on tourneys, 2 player single table tournaments, 8 seated Stud tables, and a ton of new player features. It is our goal to provide you with the most enjoyable online poker playing experience possible, and we are well on our way.

Remember, if you have any poker stories or articles that you think will be of interest to other players,  and I will have them posted to the website. The Players Lounge area is growing, and I want you to have the opportunity to be a part of it.

Look for increased poker tutorials, tips, and strategies for both ring game and tournament play coming soon. If you have any specific poker-related questions that you would like answered, and our resident poker pro, Mark Seif, will address a selected number of them in our weekly newsletters.
