Who are the best tournament players at Absolute Poker? Absolute Poker's Tournament Leader Board (TLB) tracks the best tournament players every week, month and year. Our point tracking system is designed to rank our top tournament players using place of finish, number of tournament entries, and buy-in as factors determining points earned for single and multi table tournaments. Our Tournament Leader Board, accessible via the main lobby menu options, will showcase Absolute's top tournament players on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
For results click on the "Tournaments" drop down menu from the main lobby, and select the option "Tourney Leader Board".
Points are counted from Saturday at 00:00 ET through Friday at 23:59 ET and reset at the end of the week.
The winner of the weekly Tournament Leader Board each week receives the opportunity to play in the "Mark Seif Heads-Up Shoot Out," the following Saturday at 13:00 ET. The "Mark Seif Heads-Up Shoot Out" is a FreeRoll event with a minimum prize pool of $1,000. The prize pool starts at $1,000 and if Mark wins, the prize pool is increased by $1,000 each week until one of the TLB leaders defeats Mark. For more details about this, click here.
The Top 100 Ranked tourney players for each month will be invited to play in a $2,000 FreeRoll. This event will be titled "Tourney Leader Board Monthly." Those eligible will be put on the restricted list and notified via email along with the date and time. The top 50 TLB leaders for the year will be invited to play in the Annual TLB Leaders' Challenge. This $20K FreeRoll will award one $10K entry to the World Series of Poker Main Event to the winner along with an Absolute Poker TLB Champion bracelet, with the remaining top places receiving an additional $10K in cash prizes.
Here's how it works: The top 18 finishers in Multi tourneys and the top 3 finishers in Single tourneys will receive points towards the Absolute Poker Tourney Leader Board , based the number of entrants, the tournament buy-in, and place of finish. For the weekly TLB all points awarded are counted in the standings. For the monthly TLB, each player's top 50 results will be counted in the standings. For the Annual TLB, each player's top 200 results will be counted for the standings.
The formula used to determine the total points awarded to a player:
Tournament Buy-in (maximum value of 100, for rebuy tournaments this is the average buy-in value for the tournament including all re-buys and add-ons)
Multiplied by
Number of entrants (maximum value of 200)
Multiplied by
Number of points based on finish
Divided by
