VANCOUVER - The fight of the night may have go to Garrett Davis and Myles Merola. The two held nothing back, pummeling each other for three exciting rounds while on their feet for most of the fight.

At the end of the match both received a huge round of applause from the crowd, appreciation for both leaving everything in the ring.

Unfortunately, there could be only one winner, and the unanimous decision went to Davis 30-27, 30-27, 29-28.

Blake Fredrickson Vs. George Kassomatis

George Kassomatis put his lightweight championship on the line against Blake Fredrickson on Friday night at the PNE Agrodome, and the battle was a stalemate early on.

But then Fredrickson came away with the shocker, becoming the new lightweight champion with an upside-down armbar that no one saw coming.

Victor "The Matrix" Valimaki Vs. Vernon "The Tiger" White

Light Heavyweights Victor "The Matrix" Valimaki and Vernon "The Tiger" White from the main event showed the most experience in the ring with a barrage of striking, takedown, and ground-and-pound techniques from beginning to end.

The story of the bout came with the last-minute substitution of "The Matrix". "The Matrix" came in with only one days' notice for Marvin "The Beast " Eastman, who was originally supposed to fight White.

But when the bell sounded, "The Matrix" looked like he'd been studying White's every move, countering his takedowns and strikes, and keeping him on the defensive with devastating punches on the mat.

The underdog story had the crowd behind "The Matrix" the whole way, and he delivered, winning the fight by unanimous decision to hail of cheers.
