Elite Fighting Championships' - The Ultimate Decision Continues...
VANCOUVER - Liz Posener and Karen Oliver showed that fighting ain't just for the boys, putting on a ground-and-pound display in the PNE Agrodome that kept the crowd on its feet. In the end Posener pulled out the victory with a series of rights and lefts that left Oliver in the fetal position.
The fight between "Hardcore" Hardeep Singh and Adam Laporte could easily be the best fight so far.
The fight had four stoppages, two for blood, one for a crotch shot, and one for Singh nearly attacking a rowdy fan.
Laporte was nearly out of the fight from a bloody nose but came back to win the bout by nearly popping out Singh's shoulder. In fact, the fight was so wild another fight broke out in the stands! That's what happens when fighters put on a spectacular show!
The knockout of the night goes to Chris "The Crippler" Ade who made quick work of Leonard Carter by knocking him out in 11 seconds! That's got to be a Elite Fighting Championship record.
The sentimental moment of the evening came from the bout of Cesar Narita and Sean Fewer. Narita dedicated the fight to his brother Franklin Narita, who died only weeks earlier trying to save his mother from being robbed in San Paolo, Brazil.
With that memory fueling his fire, Narita made quick work of Fewer, laying a series of punches on the ground and finishing him off with a quick arm bar. Following the fight, there was a memorial in his brother's honor.
More wild finishes on the way...
