The Madden Curse strikes again.

According to Sportsline.com Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander has a broken bone in his foot that will sideline him at least a couple of weeks.

Coach Mike Holmgren originally said Shaun had a sore foot and he would be ready for the Sunday Nighter against the Bears, but later on, he confirmed that he actually had a broken bone.

Alexander had played in 99 consecutive regular-season games before this injury...if that doesn't tell you the Madden Curse is real, I don't know what will.
