As I look to improve on my current record of (7-4), I carefully studied the line posted in the Bodog Sportsbook today. This is why I was able to make my weekly selections with all the confidence in the world. So without further ado, here are my picks for week 3:

NFL: Jets @ Bills -6... Take my beloved Bills at -6

Did you see how the Bills D handled the Phins last week? They rushed the QB play after play and sacked Culpepper 7 times! Better yet, their run defense was phenomenal by holding Ronnie Brown to only 70 yards on the ground. Even if Takeo Spikes does not play (game-time decision), you can expect the same results on Sunday versus the Jets. Since the Jets have a poor running game, the Bills were able to address pass coverage issues over the course of the week. Furthermore, this will be the Bills home opener and you can expect the crazy fans at the Ralph to be a factor. Go Bills!

Over/Under: Take the OVER 43 in the NYG @ Seattle game

Talk about Offense here... Both these team have many solid go-to guys. This game will have two of the best Running Backs in the league, great depth at the Wide Receiving position and questionable Defences. Having said that, the Giants and Seahawks will light up the scoreboard come Sunday. Go O!

College Pick of the Week: Notre Dame -3 @ Michigan State... Take Notre Dame at -3

After an embarrassing loss at home last week against their rival Michigan, the Irish will bounce back as they always do. This is way too good of a team to lose back to back games. With Quinn leading the way, the 3-point spread will be covered easily by this strong Notre Dame Team... Go Irish!
