Warren Buffett, the world's second-richest person, is donating about $37 billion to foundations run by Bill Gates. Buffet's donation is the biggest-ever single act of charitable giving in the United States.

Buffet and Gates are friends and we suspect that Gates' stepping down from day-to-day operations at Microsoft to work more closely on his Foundation projects may have something to do with the massive act of charity.
