You can bet there's some lively debate going on within the NFL handicapping community with some of the NFL odds that bettors are getting in Week 4. (All odds are subject to change.)
Indianapolis -9.5 at New York Jets People know the Jets are 2-1, right? Yet they're practically double-digit dogs to the Colts? In New York? It's always tough to bet against Peyton Manning, but that's a lot of points to give a winning team. (Even though that winning team is the Jets.)
Jacksonville -3 at Washington Bettors must've really been impressed with the Jags win over Pittsburgh in Week 2, because the Skins, led by Mark Brunell and his 22 straight completions, looked pretty darn impressive against Houston last week. Remember, the Jags have scored just 23 points in their last two games.
New England +6.5 at Cincinnati This is a punishment for the Pats' 17-7 home loss to Denver, but remember that New England running back Corey Dillon didn't play for much of the game. If he plays Sunday, you know he'll be ready for his former team, the Bengals.
If Corey Dillon sees limited action Sunday, the Patriots will look to rookie Laurence Maroney to shoulder the rushing load. Green Bay +11.5 at Philadelphia If there was ever a time to play the "never bet against Brett Favre on Monday night" card, it's now...you know, when he has 11.5 points to play with.
