JURGEN Klinsmann is odds on to pledge his future to Germany despite their semi-final exit, according to bookmakers Ladbrokes.
The California-based coach, whose contract expires at the end of the World Cup, has resisted calls to settle in his homeland.
But German legend Franz Beckenbauer hopes to persuade the former forward to stay on despite their heart-breaking 2-0 defeat.
Ladbrokes make him 1/4 to take charge of Germany's first 2008 qualifier and 5/2 to have left his post.
Spokesman Robin Hutchison said: "There have been reports the United States may be mulling an over approach, which would certainly suit his present domestic arrangements.
"But with the wave of euphoria that swept the nation after an indifferent start to the tournament we reckon he'll find it very difficult to walk out."
