France head coach Bernard Laporte wants to see a step up in intensity from his side when they take on Wales in RBS 6 Nations Championship on Saturday night.
Les Bleus have won both their games in the tournament, beating Italy 39-3 in the opener and followed by a 20-17 win over Ireland a fortnight ago.
They were superb in patches in both matches, but Laporte has urged his team to go full throttle for 80 minutes against the Welsh, an opponent France have often had trouble with recently, especially at home.
"If I can dream, I would like a synthesis of both matches," he said.
"I would really like to see a repeat of the first half hour against Ireland - in our control of the game, the scrum, in defence, attack and desire to keep hold of the ball.
"Then we had 20 minutes of hesitation where we were looking to get rid of the ball too quickly. I am expecting a step-up in intensity."
Laporte is delighted with his side's opening two displays, since France are notorious for their slow starts to the Six Nations.
France, who have scored six tries so far, are on course for a Grand Slam and a defence of the title they won last year.
"The start of the Six Nations is always complicated, so it is reassuring so far," Laporte added.
"The squad looks solid. Having deprived Ireland of the Grand Slam, we have the cards in our hand to win it.
"There is total cohesion. Having worked together for four weeks now, there is more calmness in the squad."
Centre Yannick Jauzion added: "We are taking it one game at a time.
"If we could claim the Grand Slam, it would be a good omen. It would give added confidence to the squad.
"It would be good to bring back the trophy and lift our spirits months before the World Cup.
"But we must be wary of our opponents. Especially this week, because Wales have already shown several times, notably against France, that they are dangerous and capable of creating chances at any moment.
"They have had to change their team a lot this tournament, but certain important players, like (winger) Shane Williams, are returning this week and we have to be careful."
