Our Private Tables feature enables you to create your own poker games. Now you can choose who you play with, the type of game and the stakes you want to play for! Creating your own Private Table is as easy as 1-2-3.
Step 1 - Login to Ladbrokes Poker
- You must be logged in to Ladbrokes Poker to access Private Table management functions.
Step 2 Access the Manage Private Table functions from the Menu button in the Lobby
- If this is the first Private Table you have created, you will be presented with the Create Table button, which you need to click.
Step 3 Choose the type of Private Table you wish to create and follow the on screen instructions
There are four types of Private Table to choose from:
1 Multi-Table Tournament (MTT)
When you create an MTT you can choose: The number of players: 50, 100 or 200 The buy-in: $1 to $80 No Limit, Pot Limit or Fixed Limit betting Prize distribution: 1 to 10 prizes The date and time for the tournament
2 Sit & Go Tournament (STT)
When you create an STT you can choose: The game type: Holdem, Omaha High, Omaha High Low, 7 Card Stud or 5 Card Stud. The number of players: 5 or 10 The buy-in: $0.25 to $80 The prize distribution: 1 to 3 places No Limit, Pot Limit or Fixed Limit betting
3 Cash Game
When you create a Cash Game you can choose: The game type: Holdem, Omaha High, Omaha High Low, 7 Card Stud or 5 Card Stud. The number of players: 2, 6, 8 or 10 The stakes: 20c/40c to $30/$60 No Limit, Pot Limit or Fixed Limit betting To hide the table chat from public view
4 Freeroll
When you create a Freeroll tournament you can choose: The number of players - 50, 100 or 200 No Limit, Pot Limit or Fixed Limit betting Prize distribution: from 1 to 10 prizes. Note: you are responsible for providing the prizes you publish. The date and time for the tournament
Please note: There is a one-off fee for each Freeroll you create, which you need to pay when you create the tournament, so you will need to have sufficient funds in your account before you can create this type of Private Table.
Table Names and Game Descriptions
You will be prompted to provide a table name (max 60 characters) and a game description (max 200 characters) for your Private Table. Please note that Ladbrokes reserves the right to remove any Private Tables whose name or description conflicts with the following criteria:
- Contains an obscenity - Contains the password - Contains advertising - Is likely to breach UK copyright law - Refers to a third party gaming site - May cause offence to other players
If you have any doubts about the suitability of the name or description of the Private Tables you wish to create, please email care@ladbrokespoker.com Ladbrokes does not accept any liability for inconvenience or commercial loss for any Private Tables that are removed based on the above criteria.
Players that use offensive language to name their game may be blocked and will not be able to create Private Tables, until they are unblocked.
Passwords
When you create a Private Table you will be prompted to supply a password. This password enables you to determine who is invited to your game and to administrate changes to your game.
Invite Friends
Once you have created your Private Table, the next step is to invite your friends to join your game. The Manage Private Table functionality allows you to send an email invitation to the friends you want to play in your game. First you will be prompted to enter the text of the email that will be sent to your friends. Then you can choose who will receive the email invitation. The invitation list can be created by, either you inputting the emails of up to 10 friends or by importing your friends email addresses from your email client, i.e. Microsoft Outlook.
To make sure your friends can join your game you will need to click the Show option, so that your table appears in the Private Lobby
If your friends are not currently members of Ladbrokes Poker, why not take advantage of our Refer-A-Friend promotion? which can earn you $50 for each friend you successfully refer. You can access Ladbrokes Pokers Refer-A-Friend promotions from the same Lobby menu that contains the Manage Private Table function.
Private Table Administration
You can select to have details of the Private Table you have created emailed to you. If you choose this option you will need to provide an email address (this does not have to be your registered email address).
The creation of Private Tables is limited to one per registered Real Money player, so if you wish to change your game you will have two options:
1 Edit the configuration of your current game type, e.g. Change the stakes for a cash game 2 Delete your current game, if you want change table type, e.g. Change from a cash game to a MTT, and then create a new MTT Private Table.
Any Private Tables that are inactive for 45 days will automatically be hidden from the Private Lobby. If a table is hidden for this reason, you can reactivate it by using the Manage Private Tables function in the Poker Lobby.
If you create a Cash Game, then please be aware that any public cash table restrictions between you and other players will remain in effect on private cash tables. |
