REAL Madrid target Cristiano Ronaldo is even-money not to start the season at Manchester United, according to Ladbrokes.
The Portugese winger, linked with a move to the Bernebau, has been the target of boo boys since his involvement in Wayne Rooney's world cup red card.
Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: "Ronaldo's future at United appears uncertain. The theatre of dreams could turn into a nightmare for the youngster after his behaviour at the world cup.
"He's sure to be in for a rough ride when he travels to away matches. The question is whether he's prepared to stomach the boo boys or will he look for a way out?"
Cesc Fabregas, another premiership star rumoured to be on new president Ramon Calderon's shopping list, is 3/1 not to be at Arsenal for the season's big kick-off. And Chelsea's Arjen Robben is 4/1 to leave Stamford Bridge in the same period.
Weinberg added: "The new Real chief will be anxious to bring in new blood in an effort to get something into the trophy cabinet. The club have already been linked with Robben and Fabregas. And there's always the possibility that both will be lured by the chance to pull on the famous white jersey."
Old Trafford misfit Ruud van Nistelrooy is 4/6 to start the season away from Manchester United.
