Day 1A

Day 1A of the London EPT tournament at the Victoria Casino got underway with a total of 198 runners. Amongst these were Ladbrokes players, 'tigerlily', 'norflush', 'spetsern', 'lobbylud', 'threekings' and 'Saltnes'. The players suffered mixed fortunes with 'spetsern', 'threekings', 'tigerlily' and 'Saltnes' all exiting during the first 4 levels. A series of technical glitches and testing playing conditions added to the pressure of the event which boasted a strong field. 'Norflush' exited in the early hours leaving 'Lobbylud' (Kevin Parkes) the sole survivor of the first day's play ending with 19,800 chips. 63 players progressed to Day 2 on Saturday with the average chip stack being 31,400.

We wish the Ladbrokes players 'U_Can_Try', 'redorblack',' X_Angel', 'red_uakari', 'Nebuchad' and 'Hefaistos' the very best of luck on Day 1B.
