All Prestige Poker players are rewarded for their cash game and tournament play by earning Prestige Points which are used to unlock bonuses and upgrade their VIP Membership level.
Earning Prestige Points When playing in any cash game, players earn Prestige Points for every raked hand they participate in regardless of whether the player has contributed to the pot or folded. Prestige Points are also earned when players pay tournament entry fees.
Prestige Points are awarded according to the total amount of rake taken in the hand (click here for our rake structure) and are dependent upon what the player's VIP Membership level is. Players are automatically awarded a Silver VIP Membership when they open a new account with Prestige Poker and the table below shows how many Prestige Points are earned at this level. Full details on our VIP Club and Membership levels can be found here.
Rake Taken Per Hand Silver VIP Level $0.25 to $0.50 1 Poker Point $0.51 to $1.00 2 Poker Points $1.01 to $1.50 4 Poker Points $1.51 to $2.00 6 Poker Points $2.01 to $3.00 8 Poker Points $1 of Tournament Fees 20 Poker Points
Clarification: Rake taken refers to the rake generated at a table in a ring game by all the players during that hand, and not by any individual player. Tournament fees refer to the card room fee paid by the player rather than their contribution to the prize fund; i.e. where a tournament is advertised as $20 + $2, the fee is $2.
Unlocking Bonuses All promotional bonuses at Prestige Poker are shown in the player's bonus account. In order for the player to unlock these bonuses and have them transferred to their cash balance, players must earn Prestige Points by playing in raked hands - as described in the above section.
Players can see the status of their bonuses by opening the cashier, selecting "My Account" and then clicking the "Bonuses" button. Players will then see the following screen; the meaning of each item is explained below.
Bonus Issue Date: This is the date that the bonus was added to the player's bonus balance and the date from which all Prestige Points earned will start unlocking the bonus.
Bonus Expiry Date: Any bonus not unlocked by this date will no longer be available to the player.
Status: This shows whether the Bonus is Active (i.e. is available for unlocking) or expired (i.e. no longer available)
Total Bonus Amount: This is the total bonus that was awarded and the maximum that is available to the player for unlocking.
Total Prestige Points Needed: These are the total Prestige Points required to unlock the whole bonus amount.
Bonus Dollars Left: This is the amount of bonus that has not yet been unlocked by the player.
Prestige Points Required for Completion: These are the number of Prestige Points that the player must earn to unlock the remaining bonus.
For every full 500 Prestige Points earned by players with USD accounts, $10 of their bonus will automatically be unlocked and added to their cash balance. If a player only earns, for example, 400 Prestige Points, they will not be able to unlock any bonus until a further 100 Prestige Points have been earned. For players with GPB or €uro accounts, the following rates apply:
Currency Points Earned Bonus Unlocked $ USD 500 $10 £ GBP 600 £10 € Euro 875 €10
Please note that these rates are reviewed on a weekly basis and may be changed without notice. Bonus money is unlocked at the rate shown in the table above at the time of the exchange. Please Note that all bonuses are awarded in US Dollars regardless of whether players have Stirling or Euro accounts. Conversion happens automatically on the current rate.
Prestige Points are not redeemable for cash and cannot be used in any other promotions unless specifically stated by Prestige Poker.
Checking Your Prestige Points When you are playing at a cash game, you will see a tab showing you how many Prestige Points you've earned in that session. You will also see a full statement of your Prestige Points by clicking the "My Account" button in the cashier. |
