In a nail biting finish, IT consultant Marcus Bebb-Jones from Kidderminster landed the coveted 12th and final qualifying seat after beating a full house of 119 other players in the final land based tournament at the Broadway Casino, Birmingham.

Speaking after his win, Marcus said, "This is such a thrill, there were some top class players tonight and I was always an outsider until I got some big cards at the final table. I knew I had a solid game and if I could only survive long enough, lady luck would shine my way."
