Falkirk, the Lee Freedman trained horse who is entered for the Kings Stands and the Golden Jubilee at Ascot, was backed with William Hill to win the second of his potential targets at next week's Royal meeting. Starting the day at 25-1, for the Golden Jubilee Stakes, the six year old attracted some early morning support on Sunday forcing William Hill to trim his price a couple of times before settling at 16-1. The support is a fair indication that Freedman will opt to run Falkirk in the Group 1 Golden Jubilee instead of the Group 2 Kings Stands Stakes for which he remains a 12-1 shot with William Hill.
